Mentions is annoying.

 :P Tis. Do not want.

How about a droppy or a user option or something so I can just kill them all without having to open another page and mess around?

 Antechinus waits for Ema to tell him this would be better as a mod :D

It's optional and disabled by default ;)
Maybe it should also be made a profile option, so it can be enabled / disabled by user settings?

It's on the todo list (I'm pretty sure it's even tracked at github), so definitely something that has to be put somewhere. :P
BTW, this is a duplicate, I'm pretty sure you already posted that. :P

Eliana, it depends how you use the forum. I find it quite useful, because I don't use the unread/unreadreplies, I prefer to go through the topics I see those posted recently (or those I may be interested in the moment I log in), so I use the mentions as a sort of bookmark (I have a couple at the moment "unread" because I know I have to remember those two topics).

Yeah, having this feature disabled by default is fine for me. I was just messing with @Spuds.
