Make the forum only visible to the invited people

I made a new community and i want it to be visble only to certain people.. till we finish working on it and enrich it and posting in then.. then i will make it public.. is there a way to do that??

Give no view/access to guest. Create account for those who you want to give access.

admin approve new registrants, let your friends in and deny everyone else

When i do that and try to access as a guest myself i still can see everything.. posts and articles and stuff

i did that too but guests can still see our posts

You are certain that under
Admin->Configuration->Features&Options->General
"Allow guests to browse the forum" is not checked
