Copy&paste from the web in WYSIWYG disappears when toggling to text mode

  • Copy a piece of text from a web page
  • Open a post page and turn on WYSIWYG
  • Paste the content
  • Toggle to source mode
=> expected: the text just pasted in the textarea
=> observed: an empty textarea
toggling back to WYSIWYG the text appears back.

The the demo of SCEditor it works properly, so it really looks like a bug in our version or in one of our customizations... darn! :P

Hm, works with my 1.0.4. No problem. The text keeps visible when switching to source mode and he makes bbc out of formatted text. Great!  :)

hmm... then it may very well be my old Opera (12.x), I should really test these bugs on modern browsers... :-\

Well, if it is only opera that better!
I'll test it again in the afternoon on my other computer with a recent browser. ;D

Any update on this one, curious if it was just an opera issue or other?

Apparently it was my Opera.

There is few odd situation where the text simply is not pasted (though newlines are) depending on what you are copying, but I guess it's not a problem.

Not a bug.
