Using 1.1 RC1. When a post is reported, an email is sent to the appropriate staff members. There is no notification on the forum showing there are reported posts. The concern is two fold:
1. The notification email goes to a spam folder, thus never seen.
2. The email is seen but forgotten before action is taken.
Would it be possible to have reported posts and/or other moderator functions show in Notifications? Thanks!
Hmm...
Usually there should be a sort of banner at the top of the page, if it is not threre, I'd be tempted to call it a bug... O:-)
@badmonkey would you mind report one of my posts for testing?
Absolutely. And done.
Here the counter went up (see attachment).
I'll try to install a new one and see if anything happens there.
Hhhmmm....wonder if something is amiss with my custom css?
You can try renaming the custom.css and see.
I doubt, because it would mean you added a display:none to something like .error or #warning_something and so on... :-\
I have to try it with a new install anyway.
I tried it again locally, but the feature works as expected.
Indeed, it probably makes sense to move the "warning" to the notification system, so that there is for example more control/flexibility over the methods to receive the notification, but I would do that in 2.0.
Thanks eman. There must be something wrong on this end.
Have a look at the error log, maybe it's showing some errors that could give a hint. :)
That may be a challenge. Mod reports are rare on these boards. Which is a good thing of course!
To be clear, nothing shows up on the norm.
You can always report a post for a test. ;)
