Javascript loader?

Hey has anyone played around with using a loader script to do asynchronous loading?

I didn't.
I know Elk has somewhere the option to add the async attribute to scripts, but I didn't go further into it.

Yeah I can see it's something that could need quite a bit of testing to work well, and could maybe break add-ons too. I was just wondering if anyone had tried it or had thoughts about it.
