Surfing this site the menu icons don't display properly.  See screenshot.  Using Firefox browser on Android Marshmallow, Galaxy S7.

Mine look like this. I think mine is android Lollipop.

@Spuds and @emanuele for extra thoughts, may be if empty notification, new post or reply, those icons and their borders can be made hidden / transparent?

Just to update with further info:  the same blank icons happen resizing the window in FF on Windows 10.  Maybe it's FF?  Lemme try a different browser....

***edit - happens in Edge and Chrome too.   ;)

I'm seeing them with FF on W10 and on my G7 phone with chrome ... You may have a cache issue, so try the crtl+f5 on your desktop and see if that clears it up?

There is issues known, that FF can miss some Font Awesome.
There seems to be a fix, but it requires changing the code a bit.

Great suggestion.  Unfortunately no dice.  Certainly worth a shot though!  :)

I thought 1.1 has gone to SVG instead?   Or no?  Either way the issue exists here for Edge and Chrome too.

Haha!  Thanks!  I don't recall selecting the test theme.  Must have been early morning or a late night after a few tequila shots!  ;D

***NOTE: badmonkey hasn't messed with that stuff in years.  Too many good times!

Who's default was that?  Lol

Don't look now eman, but there's a bug in the test theme.  :X

The test theme is likely still closer to 1.0 than to 1.1, but honestly I don't remember why I created it. xD

Yeah those tequila suicide shots will mess up your theme icons something bad.
