Steps to reproduce:
1/ Read someone's post.
2/ Crack up laughing.
3/ Decide to reply.
4/ Since do not want to lose place on current page when reply is submitted, use "right click > open in new tab" on the quote button.
5/ Problem: reply page opens in new tab but with no quoted content in textarea.
This is with Pale Moon 64 bit. Quick reply enabled. Wysiwyg disabled.
Working fine on FF 47
maybe it's a 1.0 bug fixed in 1.1?
I tried on
@Antechinus 's post above. So, yes, on 1.1.
I always use that method and it always worked. Same settings.
I just tried now with palemoon (26.something because it doesn't want to update) and it works fine.
Would you mind trying at www.elkarte.it/community ?
Yeah have been trying it again, later in the day at the same site, and it's working now. So maybe an intermittent bug? Dunno. Will see if it happens again.
Try to notice it it happens on a particular post, it may be some text that doesn't play well with the editor.
It just happened again on this post: http://talkrational.org/index.php?topic=188.msg9688#msg9688
There's nothing obvious about it. Any tips on what I should look for?
A quick test: could you try disabling javascript?
I want to be sure if it is the editor or not. :)
