Title: Site down
Post by: Flavio93Zena on June 30, 2015, 10:00:37 pm
The site has been down for around an hour and a half both for me and @Burke Knight so it's not a DNS failure or something. What happened if I may ask?

Well, could have been routine server maintenance, done by the datacenter...

Happened again a few minutes ago, though.

That last one was a restart..  Probably issues with the leap second.
ElkArte.net is hosted on a virtual server, maybe the host is / was affected.

I thank you for the explanation TE :)

[OT] Heck, last time I had asked it was on:
smf... Topic locked and even picked up by staff members for asking.
Elk... One of the devs kindly replies and tells me what he knows about the server issues.
#GottaLove'Em I just feel relaxed here...[/OT]

The vServer is hosted by strato.de in Germany, costs about 7€/month.
