Yup ... obviously no one would have cared if NGINX had not become successful, and was then purchased for 670M  

Who knows with the Russian and International laws this will turn out, certainly going to cost some big bucks and could slow/stop development for a time.

As with so many other things it is hard to know who is right and who is wrong in Russia. Mostly it is more about politics rather than who is driving their business according to the law.
