a problem with this attachment directory and attachment 404

Hi,


attachment directory settings not change 

QuoteCurrent attachment directory
There seems to be a problem with this directory.
(Attempt to correct)

click ""Attempt to correct""    add path  click save button  page refreshes

path can not be saved


I checked the database normally

Quote  attachmentUploadDir  a:1:{i:1;s:46:"/xxxx/xxxxxx/public_html/attachments";}

So you have global read permissions set for the folder ?

Hi,

I solved the "add path"  problem.


The problem is that the files have been 404 not found

wedge to elkarte database conversion problem

for example

attach=3974

old  file : 3974_3d7996e57a8405c4312c47bb330afaf8e1498abd.ext

conversion new file: 3974_01be99e4aa74c54d64d2b83df7ce450a8246203d.elk

database conversion  file_hash: 1cc8b591c96c17cf1ae4429663d0aa23bea64e9d

hmm... convert attachments is such a pain... :-\
I'll check again the OI to see if I can find the issue, sorry for the troubles!

It does using old files?   .ext

can I delete?

".ext" are current "proper" attachments, those without should be old.
Take a backup before deleting anything. ;)
