Apparently link-buttons and buttons have different sizes? (On linux at least, is it the same on windows as well?)
In addition to having the latest index.css from master, please try https://github.com/Spuds/Elkarte/commit/676bc4bb2a032c94fcba33e0e5d33061b48b5434 I've checked that in chrome/safari/FF/ie in OSx, Windows, Ubuntu and it (with the other line height) seems to be doing the trick.

Yeah I saw that as well ... Need to look at how the file select boxes are handled ... you can revert the last change but then all *nix (FF and chrome) will have input and link buttons of different sizes. Fun stuff indeed
I think I have it sorted out .. for FF at least, and I think IE and for the theme I am working on. I will make the changes in the default files and if it is good then I will commit it for you or emanuel to look at.
