I was sitting thinking about how we could improve the "New" button for mobile, so that you don't accidentally hit anything else.
It then kinda hit me and it seems vB have gone this way.
By default clicking a topic should take you to the newest unread post, same functionality as new. It seems more likely people will be going to the newest message rather than the start of the thread?
I don't want to diminish VB more than it deserves, but I know of another fork that has been doing that for years... (if I say the name I'm still gonna be ignored but I just want to say it's the only logical way to do it.)
I increased it for the messageIndex a while ago but unfortunately I forgot to push the same code for unread and unread replies.. :/
