Seems to be an issue when you are a Global Moderator all that you get on your Avatar section in profile edit is the No Avatar radio button and all other options are not there?
Hi fritzelly, IIRC in 1.1 avatar options are no more a permission based option, so as long as you have enaed a certain way to select avatars (gallery, upload, gravatar, external) all the members, irrespective of the member group, are allowed to use it.

That's strange, but I wouldn't say it's an issue with the software, I can change my avatar here.
I'm not sure, but have a look into ACP > Forum > Attachments and Avatars > Avatar settings > and check the settings
Got it, under Modify group and General permissions the Change Avatar checkbox wasnt selected - maybe something to change for the future
