Editor bug or quick reply bug?

In the quick reply write:
[code]:) [/code]
Then click preview.
The smiley is stripper and since the code block is empty it is stripped too.

No, it's a bug of the editor: it's enough to write:
[code]:) [/code]
and toggle on and off again the WYSIWYG, the result is that the smiley is stripped (when turning the editor "off"), but the bug is probably before, when the smiley is converted to the actual image with toggling the WYSIWYG on.
