Title: emails about template edits
Post by: Allan on March 07, 2015, 10:06:28 pm
I just did an online template edit in the index.template.php and the forum seemed to email all the users about it, how to disable that.

Ooops... looks like a bug to me.
It should email the administrators as a security measure.
I'll check into it.

Can you have a look at groups of your members and be sure nobody except those that should have has admin powers?

I was just looking into this and the only other that reported it has admin powers. So it's not a bug :P

LOL
Better.

If it is really annoying it may be possible to add an option to opt out on a personal basis.
I didn't consider it on the assumption that theme edits are not something done *frequently*, so the amount of emails sent/received should be rather limited.
I may very well consider to relax the "re-send" time, at the moment is 10 minutes, I guess it could work also 1 or 2 hours.
