Title: Replacing My Account with Member's name
Post by: Aafaque Ehsen on February 13, 2017, 03:07:29 am

Greetings:

In some of the ElkArte Forums I have made, I replaced the "My Account" label with the Member's name via a command in one of the modules in the Admin Configuration drop down menu.

Last night I was trying to do the same with a Forum where the above hadn't been done. Maybe it is my age (I am close to 70) and eyes, but I seem unable to find that command in any drop down menu under Admin->Configuration.

Kindly help.

Regards.

Hello,

That setting is under Admin -> Configuration -> Features & Options -> Layout

On that page you will find the "Display the member's name instead of "My Account" on the profile account button"

You can also use the "quick search" box in the admin area.  This is the search box just below the admin menu area on the right.  Just  enter your search, such as "my account",  and use "task/setting" in the drop down, it should find the section.  (don't bother with the online manual, thats one of those todo items ;) )
