Just noticed the light variant. Looks great. Using it as default now. If I may, it would be nice to add a bit opacity to " div#top_section " as the it strikes out a bit while merging with the black background.

I played a bit with the opacity and I personally did not like the effect, made it to grey / muddled, , but others may feel differently, layout and colors are not my bag anyway!
I think it will go good when we use a bigger logo. Will this be the default theme when beta 2 will be released ?
yep, Elk 1.0 will ship with both variants ( with Light as default)
