Title: Reset file permissions
Post by: txcas on April 12, 2017, 01:49:06 pm
Is there a script or any easy way to reset the forum file permissions to what they are supposed to be?  I am testing moving my forum to AWS.  I am zipping my current site and database and then unzipping them on the AWS instance.  After that I import the database and run repair_settings.php to get the site working, but the file permissions are messed up after going through this process.  For example, the cache directory and most of the files are not writable.

admin > main > package manager > file permissions
At the end of the page you can select a profile of file permissions and elk will try to apply it.

It should work. O:-)
