News Fader in Mobile disappears (1.1)

Quick question: Is the News Fader DESIGNED to disappear when it goes to mobile, or is this a bug? $:-\$

Nope, not a bug. There's a media query in index_variant.css to hide the news on smaller displays:

Yep, I think the idea is that is one of those things that may be annoying to have on mobile (think about having to scroll it up on each and every page before being able to see any content).
