Mentions, notifications and other terms

Just wanted to link this discussion from the issue tracker as I think it's important that we define a list of terms for global use throughout the software.

Agree, we need to come up with something that makes "the most" sense for those areas.

I'd say instead of "mentions" use "hey you!" :P
