While I was uploading screenshots for the last topic I've posted, this is what happened:
- Dragged and dropped two images.
- Both of them were completed.
- Submitted the post.
- Only the first image appeared as attached.
- Modified the page to attach it again.
- Attached the second image again and submitted.
- Again the image didn't appear to be uploaded.
- Modified the post again, the warning attached appeared.
- Ignored the warning, submitted the post. Nothing changed.
- Modified the post again, the warning appeared again.
- Clicked the link to clear the attachments.
- Attached the second image again and submitted.
- Finally the image was attached.
Two issues I can see here:
- Why am I not notified if the attachment upload wasn't successful?
- Why does ignoring the warning and submitting the post doesn't attach the orphaned attachment to that post? (it was a new topic, in the same board)
Seems like a problem with the drafts. I am experiencing automatically saved drafts too from time to time, which are not deleted when they normally should be.
Testing with two rather big images because are the only one I have handy.
The errors should be notified (at least the code is there lol).
Difficult, very difficult to say what was going on...
How about we leave some console logs in there for now (if not already present).
Sinan, can you try to upload the attachment one by one(using drag drop) in a new test post, and see it works?
