Title: A little bug in action=who with ipv6
Post by: radu81 on January 18, 2016, 05:44:42 pm
If I have a member browsing my forum using ipv6 I see his Ip correctly in his profile index.php?action=profile;area=history;sa=ip;u=X
but if I use the feature "who is online" index.php?action=who I see his IP as 0.0.0.0

Not a big problem for me, I can live with that, but if can be fixed it's surely better

It's not really a "minor" matter, it's a rather "big" problem:
https://github.com/elkarte/Elkarte/issues/1479
it is "just" that certain things are broken with IPv6.
It is kind of less broken in 1.1, but still with some potential bug, I'm not sure if the backport is worth, though. Depends how fast 1.1 can be wrapped up.

Not worth time to fix on 1.0, IMHO

Should be fixed in both 1.1 and the upcoming 1.0.8.
