Here's a litte document what the ElkArte backend (admin center) could look like. As it is pure text you must imagine the menues and sub menues yourself.

Its great to see a grouping of functions/action from someone who is not writing the code.   As you know what makes sense to the Dev's and a User are often completely different.

I've always had trouble finding things in the ACP and I'm pretty darn familiar with it ... So I am very interested in alternative layout / groupings that would simply make the back-end more logical and easier to approach.

For the most part, I like it. Just a few suggestions:

Did we forget User Groups? I'd like to see those under General Settings.

I'd also put Package Manager under Advanced Settings (maybe change the name to Advanced), because it's really not a System setting.

Actually, why not just drop the "settings" moniker altogether?
