Ok well that's sort of a bug then. The pre tag shouldn't break the post layout. Really it should have auto overflow like the code tags.

Drop TT (wtf is this even for?) and wrap PRE. Or give PRE its own div box so it can stay unwrapped like code, but not kill the whole page format.
Why did [acronym] get dropped?

Because the result was exactly the same as abbr.

abbr is easier to use anyway.
Does anyone ever use the teletype tag? I don't even know why editors include it.

Drop pre and tt. Code handles pre and tt can be done with fonts.

Might be a good idea to re-order the buttons a bit too. At the moment quote, which is one of the most heavily used, is sorta hiding in the middle and is not very distinct.

Yup, mainly for splitting posts. Also for posting news articles from other sites, etc.
ETA: Come to think of it, I'm not sure the font tag is useful either, since it only provides old Windows fonts which wont render on any other OS anyway.
