Members Viewing Board

Please how do i activate the 'members viewing board' option?

I would appreciate if anyone would help me on this.

It's in admin > configuration > current theme: "Show who is viewing the board index and posts". :)

another problem i am having is the likes. I have enabled it in admin > core

But still it is not displaying the like button on my forum.

You know what the problem might be?

Are you looking at one of your posts after enabling Likes? Or looking at posts from someone else?
Remember, you will not see the Like button for your own posts.

As Admin, you should see the button on other posts, even if did not set permissions yet for the rest of the members.
You'll need to go into permissions for each membergroup (Not post based) that you have, and make sure the permissions are set for them to Like posts.

@burke knight i have set the permissions to 'like other people's post' for the regular users, but still can't see the 'like'  button when i log in as a regular user. any help?

Besides turning it on in Core Features, have you gone to:

Administration Center > Features and Options > Likes

And do the settings there, including making sure Enable Likes is checked?

yes burke. i have done all that. you can check out my forum to confirm this.
