Anyone thinking that... August 31, 2014, 11:37:51 am ...is about time to draw the line and call the current code "stable"?
Re: Anyone thinking that... Reply #2 – August 31, 2014, 02:43:17 pm Its not like we are not planning a 1.01 and a 1.1 The idea was no known security or "big" errors (data loss, feature not working at all, etc) ... I feel we have been in refinement mode on 1.0 for a bit now, which is good
Re: Anyone thinking that... Reply #3 – September 01, 2014, 05:31:33 pm I don't see any major bugs. I feel like I've been seeing a lot of theme issues being posted lately, but those don't necessarily stop the release. Better to release now and get some attention.

Re: Anyone thinking that... Reply #6 – September 02, 2014, 02:36:29 am I think what groundup wants to say is that usually when a "stable" version is released, more people are likely to use it compared to a development one. And more people using it, means more possibilities to find bugs and so on.
Re: Anyone thinking that... Reply #8 – September 02, 2014, 01:32:48 pm Stable version would definitely get more users to actually use elkarte.

Re: Anyone thinking that... Reply #11 – September 05, 2014, 09:52:11 am It's not stable until you stopped "adding features", emanuele.

Re: Anyone thinking that... Reply #13 – September 07, 2014, 07:07:58 pm Isn't the traditional RC3 the place for last-ditch major features/new themes/blocking bugs?
Re: Anyone thinking that... Reply #14 – September 08, 2014, 05:27:51 am I break so much stuff that I broke the tradition...
