Sorry for the MySQL Connection issues you might have noticed during the past hours..

Our virtual server is online again. The error was caused by an openVZ security update (from the host system) which broke the MySQL daemon.
After some research the param

innodb_use_native_aio = 0
in my.cnf fixed that issue.

BTW, next time I should remember we have also twitter account (https://twitter.com/ElkArteForum) we are not using much... lol
At least push a message that the site is down.

Oh, my two blogs also have twitter accounts. Not using them too.  O:-)

Does anyone use twitter?  :-X  What about facebook?
