How to disable sending email directly to member?

Years since I'm using ElkArte and just now I realized I can send an email directly to a member by clicking mail icon.

before I just assumed that is to pm the member.

now i want to know on how to disable it. i find some hints from smf but the location/options is not applicable.

IIRC it's not possible (yet) to disable it entirely.
You can remove the permission though: "Send emails".
