Title: How to force all users to verify their passwords and use a valid email adress ?

Hi,
when I have finally converted my SMF forums to Elkarte I want to force all my users
to verify their email adresses and only use valid email adresses and not use "Throw-Away"
email adresses... so I will have valid email adresses for  newsletter mailings...

How can I best force users to do this without too much trouble ?

Or (what I do) .. delete all user with a illegal email  :D

TBH I don't think there are many good ways: your users need a valid email address to reset their password, if you change their password and tell them to reset, they will need to receive an email, but they cannot change the email because the password changed (and this is by design).
So they would be stuck.
The only way I see is to go through them, identify the disposable emails, send them a warning, and if they do not reply throw them out.

Send a newsletter to all users (overwrite the user settings for newletter) ...
for all mails they can not deliverd, your provider (normaly) send back a "not delivered" mail.
So you can delete all users in this list ..

Yes .. it's the best and simples way to remove dead users  :D
