issues, unsure if 1.1.0.b2, browser, or even serverm or all

Sorry to be a pain.
I got some things going  and am unsure where the issue lies.

I want to say is 1.1.0.b2
because, haven't experienced these, till now.
but my browser has started, *periodicly*, acting up,
*so far, only on elk sites*... here, & my own elk site

browser is ff 47.0.1
here at elkarte net and on my own elk site
the page SOMETIMES loads extremely large.
so large that all i see might be a rss button, filling the screen

i'm working with elk 1.1.0.b2
had the previous issue with, markasread, which got fixed by deleting it
was working ok at that point, but only 1/2 configured and only with the single admin account.

i started running thru the settings for server, moderation, guest user post count
was having a lot of trouble getting check boxes to "stay/change"
so turned off caching, & cleared it.
went to back to the various settings... no more take 6-8 tries, to get the changes to save,
finished that
registered a 2nd account as a standard user

then it stood out that was having a  email task issue... checking for email is failing.
but for my newly regged account, i did get the system notice, at the admin email and at the new user's email account.

anyway, change the new user profile settings, to not show, log off.

come back to the admin acct, login and get a white screen. never even showed the admin log
close, retry, same effect.. 3-4 times.
i have several non related sites open in the browser. so was not entirely shutting down the browser.
(this had no effect on those sites, functionality)
but a full browser shut dowb is what i have to do, to regain my elk site.
NOW,
my non admin acct can login, and appears fine.
but soon as use my admin acct, it white screens -whether standard login or admin
and i must fully close the web browser

upon primary acct login, it white screens at  /index.php?action=auth;sa=check;member=1

I can't access any of the internal logs.
(root error_log had nothing current)

This is new and empty, so don't mind deleting.
but don't want to keep doing that

Any suggestions?

Yes, one question at a times. xD

I'm somehow lost, I feel there are three questions in the post, but I'm not sure, so I'll start giving generic advices. :P

This makes me think the stylesheet is not loaded for some reason.
What you should do is try to identify if there is a pattern (e.g. a certain kind of pages like the topics, or the profile, or...).
Additionally, you can check with a second browser if you have the same issue.
It may either be 1) a bug, 2) a server issue, 3) a problem of your connection, 4) a browser cache issue, and probably something else.

What version of php?
What settings were you trying to change?

Checking? O_o
Moar details?

I don't remember any hidden cookie monster installed silently with ElkArte 1.1 b2 which could be causing the chaotic situation over there.

Sorry, just kidding guys. :P

I was just thinking to park and follow the issue from here because I did face the white screen issue in 1.1 b1 using php7 from windows last time. ;)

If you have no sensitive data, you could do a backup and pass it to me so that I can have a look and see if something is gone wild.
