Package Manager May 02, 2015, 08:46:28 am I've been going through our friend package manager (again), well not the entire thing but install and install2 functions. I wanted to try and break them up a bit more as those functions are just monsters. Anyway in doing that exercise I came across the old boardmod style support and wanted to ask, do we really need to support that any longer? I'm really not sure of how often it was/is used or the story behind it, seems like an easier to read XML formatting, not sure if it predates the xml, or is/was used side by side or if its a just a legacy.Just curious, I mean how many ways do we want to support messing up the source files
Re: Package Manager Reply #1 – May 02, 2015, 09:18:23 am I'm pretty sure there is an issue about that, but I can't find it... as usual.Kill it with fire was my suggesion. nodsAbsolute legacy from 1.0 or so.ETA: found it!https://github.com/elkarte/Elkarte/issues/1462
