Invite Friends

Hello Guys,

Please is there a way to add a feature that would enable users to to send invitations to their facebook friends, twitter friends and even email contacts?

Would be really nice to have.

I don't think there is anything ready.
Send to facebook and twitter may be a pain (not sure though), send via email... what do you mean by email contacts? You mean something like the forum fetches addresses from the mailbox and sends the emails? I would discourage that...

A simple invitation? Send them the link to the forum. Or do you think something as complex as Invitation System?

yes @NetFlag but not as complex as the one on simple forum. i am actually referring to something like this http://www.oxwall.org/store/item/618  but with just the simple option of inviting your friends on most social networks.

Would really boost participation in the community.

Of course not @emanuele the forum would never fetch member emails. But you could invite your friends if you have their email address just like this http://vanillaforums.org/addon/bulkinvite-plugin

Would be nice if we could go a step ahead by adding a button to invite social network contacts just like this addon http://www.oxwall.org/store/item/618

I think this addon would boost community communications so much.

Got to admit that at first when I saw this topic I was like "Wth is he talking about?" but that's actually a good idea IMHO.
