I have searched for a setting to change the order of posts in a topic thread. Currently the oldest is at the top. Any ideas please?

That option was removed some 4 years ago.

:'( Why? It makes more sense to me to see the newest post first. Another addon for some clever guy please?

There is also a solution posted by Emanuele, I did not tested and don't know if will work with elkarte 1.1
