[1.0.7] move topic

If you move a topic you can use the option to change into the moved topic automatically. It doesn't work.

What does it mean "it doesn't work"?
I used here quite frequently where we were on 1.0 and always worked (apparently).

Okay, let's try to recap:
1) created a topic http://www.elkarte.it/community/index.php?topic=9.0 in a board http://www.elkarte.it/community/index.php?board=4.0
2) opened the topic and clicked "move" at the bottom
3) selected another board http://www.elkarte.it/community/index.php?board=1.0 and ticked "Redirect to the moved topic"
4) the "moved" notice http://www.elkarte.it/community/index.php?topic=10.0 for me redirects to the correct topic.

What do you see wrong instead?

Moving a topic works, yes, sorry. But I can select to automatically change into the moved topic after the process of moving. That doesn't work. I stay in the old board.

So, you have the "MOVED" notice, but it's a "normal one", while you want to modify it to convert to a "redirect"?
If that's so, then... well, it's not a bug, but a limitation of the system, it really designed like that. You cannot even change the "auto-delete-the-moved-notice-after-x-days".

Another try.... I move a topic. In the "move topic" screen where I select the new board to which the topic should move I can choose the option to be taken directly to the moved topic (in the new board). But it didn't work. I am still in the old board while the topic is moved correctly.

I have never seen such an option...  :o

The attached one is the screen of the "move", I can't see any option that would bring you to the new board.

It's called "redirect to the moved topic" and I can see it in your screenshot...  ;)  Or does this mean something different?  :o

Maybe it is just a wrong translation. ;)  "In das verschobene Thema wechseln" does not mean that you will be brought into another board, while you are moving this topic.

But any user, which would click on the topic name of the moved topic in the topic index, will not see the message "This topic has been moved, because...", He will be brought into the other board, straight into the moved topic.

(Jorin, ich glaube, das ist nur etwas mißverständlich oder ungenau übersetzt. Beim Verschieben eines Themas bleibt man immer im ursprünglichen Board. Das Pseudo-Thema, das den Beitrag mit dem "Verschoben-Link" enthält, ist zwar noch im ursprüglichen Board zu sehen, klickt man es an, kann man aber diesen Beitrag nicht lesen, wie sonst üblich, und dann auf den Link zum verschobenen Thema klicken, wenn man will - sondern man landet statt dessen gleich im verschobenen Thema und im anderen Board. Das ist das, was mit dieser Option geschieht, wenn sie gewählt wurde.)

In German: "Benutzer wird direkt zum verschobenen Thema weitergeleitet"
In English maybe: "Redirect the user into the moved topic"
