Sending a PM results in more unread?

Unless I'm dreaming, I think that when you send a PM, the counter of the unread PMs goes up by one.
I think it did when I replied, not sure when sending a new one.
To test.

Yeah, I don't think I was dreaming because I even got the notification of the PM I sent.

Well do you need to have unread PMs or does it just add 1 even if you have read all of them? I'd test it and send you one, but I'm at 0 unread, not sure if it's the same scenario you described.
