ElkArte or ElkArt1 first?
It's elkarte 1.1:
https://www.transifex.com/elkarte/elkarte-11/dashboard/
the others are either archives or other projects.
i have some questions about translation. I can use this topic or a new one?
Let me know what is "Hook"
example - Admin.english.php
hooks_field_hook_name'] = 'Hook Name';
$txt['hooks_disabled'] = 'Disabled'; //@deprecated since 1.1 - it's no more possible to disable hooks
$txt['hooks_no_hooks'] = 'There are currently no hooks in the system.';
$txt['hooks_disable_legend_exists'] = 'the hook exists and is active';
$txt['hooks_disable_legend_disabled'] = 'the hook exists but has been disabled';
$txt['hooks_disable_legend_missing'] = 'the hook has not been found';
"hook" I think has not been translated.
A hook is a place in the code that can be used to extend the features.
thank you
@emanuele i use google but i dont find what is.
you can leave it as "hooks", we did the same choice on the Italian translation.
Some questions :D
1. editor.php
Unlink, to remove a link from post ?
Cols: what is ? where we can use?
$editortxt['Unlink'] = 'Unlink';
$editortxt['Cols:'] = 'Cols:';
2.index.php
please let me know the words: '%
b ? ? ? ? %
day, %
Year'
'lang_spelling': must be greek ? or american ?
$txt['date_joined_format'] = '%b %d, %Y';
$txt['lang_spelling'] =
3.badbehavior
what means 'same user
agent' ?
$txt['badbehaviorlog_filter_only_agent'] = 'Only show the entries with the same user agent';
I will stay off for a few days,i hope 10-12 >:( ::)
If you have ideas or suggestions about Greek translation you can send me p.m.
best regards
Cols is the number of columns of a table. If you enter the editors wysiwyg mode and then select insert a table you will see a dialog asking for the number of rows and columns (cols) for the table.
I'm not sure unlink is used in our implementation of the editor, but yes it would be to remove a link and just leave the text.
That is the format that a date is presented, so that is somethign like Aug 15 2008. If you want it to be 15 Aug 2008 instead it would be %d %b %Y .... All of the potentail codes are here: https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.strftime.php
Yes lang_spelling should be '' for your language. Its only used if the system has spellcheck installed, and most don't have that since the browser spellcheck is superior anyway.
The user agent is the "ID" string for the browser you are using. My user agent is currently "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/74.0.3729.134 Safari/537.36 Vivaldi/2.5.1525.40"
I'm not sure that User Agent needs to translate, you could always just shorten ti to UA ? Or Maybe Browser ID .. don't know, maybe someone has some ideas.
Great explanation Spuds.
I think user agent could remain as "user agent", UA is not so intuitive.
i use local host for translation, we can upload the new files at Transifex?
Sure, it's possible!
I don't remember how to do it, though.
I think you just go to the language and then to the file and there is an upload translation button.
Sorry but I'm constantly in a hurry and cannot check... :-\
thank you...
i m gonna check it later.
Let us know if it works or if you have problems
@glinuxas
I can upload but it seems like a new one file without translation.I make copy-paste ::) :(
