I have a really stupid question. On the default at top of theme standard there is the news section e.g in this forum it reads
ElkArte 1.1.4 Security and Bug fix patch has been released!

I can not work out how or where to access that NEWS section to chnage the text :(

It's the news section to put the content that is shown.
admin -> main -> news and newsletters -> news
Then to enable it;
admin -> configuration -> current theme
News line in the forum header section

How do you custom change that, I cant seem to find it anywhere? Min says " News
