footnotes fun

It also doesn't work at the end of the sentence. [2]

But hey, at least it works [3] some times.

I can't tell when it's working in preview of post. Looks like it's not working at all...

OK it was a rookie mistake, fixed it here and made the PR to fix it O:-)
