Is there a chance we get the @username working in the post preview? I wanted to check if all links were there... But there are none in the preview. 

I do seem to remember it was like that for a reason and was postponed, but I am not 100% sure.

Yeah, I guess a couple of times I've been annoyed by that as well.
Let's see if in 1.1 it will be easier to add (I'm not sure a lot changed in that area, though it may).
The idea behind is to pass the users id like we do for the normal posting and identify the mentioned members without sending the notification.
As usual, the preview message is the only one to change, while the "original" message should not.
