I wish there people here kind enough to put up a detailed tutorial on how to create a theme or addon for ElkArte.
I believe one of the reason why Wordpress was so successful and became popular is due to the amount of resources available out there put up by passionate people both for fun and money.
If there were the same resources for ElkArte like there were in Wordpress, I think ElkArte will further grow and become very popular too! and money will surely follow :)
I have made a theme called Silk. Available under custom themes. You are free to modify it as you wish. :)
It would be great if few people start making themes. This will surely boost up ElkArte usage...I am very poor in designing and i just made slight cosmetic change to the theme :(
I was just discussing it a few days ago... Very few people on here, it takes quite a bit of time and if it's a premium theme the revenue is very unsure #_#
