My god, these problems! >:(
I tried to upgrade from 1.0.10 to 1.1.13 with the install package. I uploaded all files, but the update programm said there were outdated files anywhere. Why doesn't it show a list of the files?
I found a thread with the hint to upgrade to 1.1.12 first, so I tried this. I uploaded all files from the 1.1.12 install package und the upgrade process started. Now, after upgrading, the board cannot be shown. The URL always changes to the /install/upgrade.php, no matter what I try.
Help! ::) :o
Delete the install directory. :)
I tried, then I get this:
404 Not Found
The requested URL /install/upgrade.php was not found on this server.
Probably because you pointed directly to install/upgrade.php?
If I visit your forum I see the maintenance message now. :) (At least, I think it's the maintenance message, I'm not proficient in German. xD)
Right, damn. I need to check the paths now. Thanks for the moment. ;)
You are welcome! :)
BTW, I've seen several people stuck here, so my guess is:
1) either nobody reads the message at the end of the process, or the checkbox doesn't work,
2) the flow should be improved "somehow", maybe showing the option to delete the installer from the screen you posted, maybe something else.
Worked a bit. Now I can't change to the default theme and my personal theme is somehow corrupt. :-X I try my best...
As admin this should work:
https://forum-alternative-antriebe.de/?theme=1
It does not, sorry. It shows a mixture between both themes.
Oh my, entering a thread shows this:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function template_msg_email() in /www/htdocs/xyz/hp_elkarte/themes/default/GenericMessages.template.php on line 136
That's likely why you are using a theme that is not the default and that has not been designed for 1.1.
Anyway, there is always repair_settings (attached there is the latest version from github), you should be able to use it to fix the theme issue.
