My first addon for Elkarte

For Elkarte 1.1.x and 1.0.x
An auto embed media modification for that takes links for popular video websites and adds a player directly into the post or bbc area of your website

Supports over 90+ sites such as
Youtube   
Facebook   
Instagram
Threads
Twitter
Vimeo
College Humor
And many more!

Pulled it in, its on the site (had to add a space after a : as yaml is very unforgiving)

This mod whitescreens 1.1RC2.  Could there be plans for an update? Pretty please?   ;D

Hi Kimo and welcome. :)

hmm... 500 is always a tricky error.
The first two options that come to my mind are:
1) a problem with the addon (first because I can check it immediately),
2) mod security.
Regarding 1, I can't see anything wrong with the code (but I cannot install it for testing right now).
In the meantime, you could try to contact your host and see if they have mod security enabled. If this is the case, then they are in the best position to fix the issue.

KIMO is using 1.0, so I guess the bug is valid for both versions. O:-)

Hhmm...could be! Sorry, couldn't tell what version watching from a phone.  O:-)  Perhaps this will prompt a repair.  Doubly good if it's an issue common to both. 1.1 whitescreens immediately on install, if that means anything at all.
