Sorry, but I don't know nodebb that much, let alone it's "dialect" (i.e. what "post legend means"). :-[
Look at the bottom part of screen shot. There is an interesting navigation for posts. Like first post, next posts, last post etc.The blue bar is what I am talking about.

Do we need that? We already have scroll up and down, and page numbering where last number is where the last post should be in.
Helps a lot while on mobile.
I've seen something similar in a xf style, but never used it. I'm pretty sure there was a similar topic here probably started by

I remember. He was talking about the same in Flarum. NodeBB's method is a bit more interesting and comfortable.
