Contrast just went out the window, masking what was typed in the quick reply box hard to read.
...Fix your monitor? ;D
Browers?
OS?
What naughty things were you writing? :P
That may be some oddity with some browser or a bug somewhere that pops up once in a while and nobody else have noticed yet...
Right, an oddity... except it's not! A quick search reveals these:

Oh hellz no--10-bit IPS panels are expensive and look beautiful.
Its not so bad on my cheap monitor.
The beast color should only be for the QR without the full editor, pretty sure the full editor defines a new text color. Of course we should really be the same one used for the QR box, no need for that to be different. I have an open PR for 1.0.5 so I may slip that in :D
I think its a combination of the contrast along with the font size as well .. using the colors of text and background the accessibility is rated AA but thats for a somewhat larger font. Somewhere there is a post about the various contrast vs accessibly ratings, something I'll address in 1.1 unless someone beats me to it.
Yes, the ful leditor is black, which is fine.
Also the quick editor has a gray background on hover--also needs addressed.
The closest comparison I have for this black level is a phone with OLED screen.
Should be darker now ... at least it should be the same in all version of QR, text, editor wiz, plain editor.
I tend to agree with the hover comment ... seems kind of reversed to me, maybe it should go white on hover and grey/dim when not active.
nah, it's good always white; if it's gray, it looks s disabled.
