I thought I had problems with the install, but in truth it was just I was looking at the wrong install...
Yeah, I should get some sleep, without any doubt.
If there is any brave man or woman with a 1.0.8 test install, I would ask you to try the patch, see if it installs clean and without errors.
If you have experienced the issues, feel free to try to reproduce them (sorry, I can't write down instructions at the moment), otherwise an install test is good enough. :)

I wake up this morning and I couldn't find the topic so I was wondering if I just dreamed about posting the patch. LOL
Installed without errors.
Also installed for me without errors. Oddly my test site has never had the scheduled task errors that my production site has so all I can say fix wise is that an IP address has shown up correctly in the who's online page.
