may understand the second, but the first...really, it doesn't make any sense nowadays...
First one seems silly to me ... and worse, I bet it does not even work :P
The second one, I can only imagine that was due to people not being able to find the advanced options thing, should be more obvious now I would think, plus we added (I think) the recall last state on that section.
