Follow-ups Bug in Custom fields Custom fields and privacy August 22, 2015, 05:07:35 pm I have some custom fields that for privacy I don't want to show to guests, but only for registered members. I see there is no way to hide them for guests. What about adding an option like "Guests cannot see this field, only owner and admins can edit it" ?You can also test it here on elkarte, open this link in incognito mode http://www.elkarte.net/community/index.php?topic=2835.msg19430#msg19430and you will see all social links of @Jorin I would also like to add a custom field under signature, but being a link for only registered users I cannot hide it, and it has not much sense to show it to guests

A good idea. I too would like to be able to set some fields to "visible for members only".
Re: Custom fields and privacy Reply #2 – August 23, 2015, 02:04:16 am I feel this is a duplicate of either:http://www.elkarte.net/community/index.php?topic=2511.0or:http://www.elkarte.net/community/index.php?topic=1622.0Provided they are not duplicate of each other. LOL
