Can not install Elkarte version from git August 10, 2014, 05:55:04 pm Hello At first, I come from germany and so my englisch not perfect, sorry for that ...Ok, I have download over ssh the last gitversion from elkarte, When I will install comes this http://forumdev.pi2u.de/elkarte/and wenn I change in the install, I can see the files in the folder. Ok I run the install.php and so comes thishttp://forumdev.pi2u.de/elkarte/install/install.phpOk, I the webspace is share-hosting, php 5.3 is install and run fine for me.I think I have found a bug or ?Have a nice day
Re: Can not install Elkarte version from git Reply #1 – August 10, 2014, 10:36:34 pm Gerriet, This is not a bug as your issue is due to an improper installation procedure.You need to take the first 7 files that are within the install directory (the other files are for upgrading) and copy them to the main forum directory. Then you install via the main url: http://forumdev.pi2u.de/elkarte/install.phpThe actual install folder should be deleted from the server.Regards.
