Modifying or replacing gender? February 21, 2016, 11:19:22 am I'm still getting up to speed with ElkArte. I've mostly used/installed/supported vbulletin in the past, so I'm still trying to find where all the bodies are buried. How can I add other choices to gender?Would it be easier to replace the default gender field with a new field members can fill in as they choose? If I do that, how do I remove the default gender field from profiles, member lists, registration, etc?EDIT - Oh hey never mind! I just found the option to configure profile fields. Spiffy!

Personally, I never was one for that relative time feature.I prefer the time, so I can know exactly when it was done.A forum I go to a lot, using VB, has it set so can't ever tell when a post was done.I mean, when was it posted, 3 Days Ago? That does not tell me a time...LOL

Re: Modifying or replacing gender? Reply #6 – February 22, 2016, 08:08:40 am BTW, I tend to like the way github handles it with one month relative and then absolute (with just the day).
