admin.css variants

Was going to split the colors from admin.css and stumbled across a small issue.
Someone with a good idea how to load an admin_variant.css ? I thought about modifiying the loadTemplate() function or loadCSS() but all ideas I have in mind are more or minor dirty hacks..

I have bad news for you: this is going to apply to all CSS files, not just admin. The editor CSS is an obvious example. If you want real variant support, you're going to have to allow variant files there too.
